The NMI page is where the NMI (Nazarene Missions International) President of the church submits the annual Local NMI President Report for the district assembly. The report captures NMI membership numbers, mission activity, and giving information that the district uses for assembly records.
The NMI President Report is submitted once per year as part of the district assembly reporting cycle. It is only available after the district creates an assembly for the current year. If no assembly has been created yet, a message on the page will notify you to check back once the assembly is available.
The status badge in the upper right of the page shows whether the report has been submitted or accepted by the district. Once the district accepts your report, the status badge changes to Accepted and the report is finalized.
- NMI Members (Full Church Membership) — Required. The number of full church members who are also NMI members. This number should match the membership total on the Lead Pastor Report. If the numbers do not match, a notice will appear on the page reminding you to confirm with your pastor.
- NMI Associates — Optional. Non-members who actively participate in NMI and missions activities.
The report includes a series of required Yes/No questions about your church's mission engagement during the year. All questions must be answered before the report can be submitted:
- Did your church pray for needs around the world as well as missionaries?
- Did your church give to the Alabaster offering? (If yes, enter the amount given.)
- Did your church pray for your assigned Care and Connect missionary?
- Did your church engage children and youth in missions?
- Are you a Mission Priority One church (all goals met)?
- Did your church meet the World Evangelism Church of Excellence standard?
- Did your church give of its resources beyond the local congregation?
Optional numeric fields allow you to enter the number of adults, youth, and children considering a call to missions, as well as World Evangelism Fund allocation and giving amounts. WEF amounts may be pre-filled from your giving records when available.
The Mission Accomplishment field is an optional text box where you can share one example of local or international mission work your church participated in during the year. This might be a mission trip, a community outreach event, a partnership with a missionary, or any other missions engagement. Up to 1,000 characters.
The final section collects contact information for the NMI President submitting the report. First name, last name, and email are required. Phone, mailing address, and state are optional. This information is used by district staff to contact the NMI President if needed.
If you have submitted a report in a previous year, the contact information from that submission may be pre-filled for convenience.
Click Save NMI Report to submit your report. If any required fields are missing or invalid, error messages will appear at the top of the form listing what needs to be corrected. Your entered values are retained so you do not have to re-enter everything.
Once submitted successfully, the status badge changes to Submitted. You can return to the page and save the report again if you need to correct information — re-saving replaces the previous submission. The report can be updated until the district marks it as Accepted.
