Assemblies
The Assemblies section is where your church completes the reporting required for the district assembly. Each year the district creates an assembly and churches submit reports through this dashboard. Reports include the memorial roll, church directory, lead pastor report, delegate certificate, and continuing staff requests.
The Assembly Dashboard lists all reporting items for the current district assembly. Each item shows a title, description, and a status badge:
- Pending — Not yet started.
- In Progress — You have begun filling it out but have not submitted.
- Submitted — The report has been submitted to the district.
- Approved — The district has reviewed and accepted this report.
Click Open next to any item to open a form where you can fill in and submit that report. Each report form opens as a modal or dialog on the same page. If no assembly has been created by the district yet, a message on the page will notify you to check back when it becomes available.
The Memorial Roll records the names of church members who joined the church triumphant during the current assembly year. Click Open to enter names. Add each person's first and last name. Click Add Entry to add another row for multiple entries. Save when done.
The Church Directory Form collects current church contact information and the names and contact details of church leaders. This information is used by the district for the assembly directory. Fill in the church address, phone, email, website, and leadership details, then save.
The Lead Pastor Report captures membership statistics and a summary of the church's highlights for the year. Enter active member count, inactive members, and preparatory members, along with pastoral notes and key outcomes.
The membership number entered here is used by NMI to verify that the NMI membership count matches. It is also used to calculate the number of delegates your church is entitled to send to the district assembly.
The Delegate Certificate lists the voting delegates your church is sending to the district assembly. The number of delegates your church may send is based on membership — complete the Lead Pastor Report and confirm the membership number before filling out the delegate certificate.
Enter the names of primary delegates and alternates. Add or remove rows as needed. Submit when complete.
The Request for Continuing Staff allows the church to formally request district approval to continue staff personnel into the next church year. List each staff member you wish to continue — including their name, position title, and salary — and provide a justification for continuing each position. Add or remove rows as needed, then submit.
